Presentation on GoogleMaps

My presentation is available here , it is hosted by drop.io , a great place to pu something up on the web quickly. You do not need to create an account. The stotage is only 100MB and the maximum file size is 10MB. You should make an administrator account when you create the account. Access can be limited by password and you can set the site to erase after a week, month or year.

Video - introduction to google maps
Video - make your own map
Video - look at some examples of GoogleMaps
Video - look at a conference map and what you might put there

The videos were created with Jing - a free video capture program. You can make short video clips (under 5 minutes) and screen captures. The clips are saved on the hard disk but also can be hosted on the internet free.

Note: GoogleMap user guide

Podcasting

Audio File + RSS Feed = Podcast

Free Podcast creation and hosting with PodOmatic

Paid podcast hosting from LibSyn basic for $5/month

Podcasts - look at directory or look at the podcast section of iTunes.

Must have a look at LastFM no time tonight.
Do have a look at Mevio and Jamendo for more podcasts.

Talking heads

I looked at SitePal but I would be reluctant to pay $9/month CrazyTalk to make my own talking heads.

Buy audiobooks from Audible

LibraryThing Bookshelf

Link to bookshelf - some of the books that I put on the bookshelf were out of print and the covers were not available from amazon. I took a picture of the cover and put it in to the book details so that the book information now has the proper cover.

Paris Exposition

Exposition Universelle Paris 1900 - Trailer #1 - kewego

A suivre...
